Agentic Coding
Lead · The Coding Agent Leaves the IDE
At its Intelligence at Work livestream, OpenAI said Codex functionality is coming inside the ChatGPT app everywhere within weeks, and released six business-focused plugins spanning sales, data analytics, creative production, product design, public equity investing and investment banking, alongside new annotations and sites features. Non-technical users are now about 20 percent of the Codex base and growing three times faster than developers. The agent built for code is being recast as a general work agent — the clearest sign yet that the coding-agent war is moving out of the IDE and into the whole office.
Infrastructure
Codex now runs on GPT-5.5 atop NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 hardware — model quality and compute economics merging into one conversation.

Financing & Deals
Lead · Streamers Keep Buying the Tentpoles
Amazon MGM Studios has taken worldwide rights to "The Kellys," an action film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth from Thunder Road Films and director Brad Peyton, who is co-writing with Tze Chun. The story follows Jack Kelly, a disgraced NYC cop whose wife is taken hostage by terrorists inside an old armory — forcing him to join forces with the people he fears most: his family. Amazon reportedly has no theatrical plans, sending the star pairing straight to Prime Video, a marquee example of streamers buying tentpole-scale action outright while theatrical financing stays tight.

Lead · Thirty Tonnes of Perfumed Earth in the City
At the Barbican's Sculpture Court in London, Colombian artist Delcy Morelos has built "Origo" — a 24-meter-wide installation moulded by hand from more than 30 tonnes of soil and clay infused with spices, formed into an organic oval around a large central void. The earthen mass sits against the brutalist concrete like ground that has surfaced through the city, and its scent reaches visitors before its shape does. It runs until July 31. The what-if: haul thirty tonnes of perfumed earth into a city center and make a sculpture you smell before you see.
